Stunning video shows the moment a large shark leapt out of the water and landed on top of a fishing vessel in waters off Whitianga, New Zealand.

Ryan Churches, owner of Churchys Charters NZ, captured the startled reaction of passengers who were searching for kingfish when the shark took the bait instead.

The shark was unharmed.
