Every new administration has redecorated the White House once they move in and Cheryl Eisen, a professional stager from New York, thinks the Trump family will be no different.
In an interview on 愛污传媒 Channel Monday, Eisen, President and CEO of Interior Marketing Group, speculated about what the White House might look like once Donald Trump and his family move in and put their mark on the historic building.
Eisen, whose company has staged Trump properties in the past, imagines that they will go: 鈥渧ery bold, very gold, very marble.鈥�
鈥淭he Trump style of decorating right now is a Rococo style, sort of baroque, very ornate, a lot of golds and rose tones, marble,鈥� she said.
Each new administration typically receives a $100,000 budget for redecoration and the rest they pay for themselves, according to Eisen.
鈥淏ased on the way they seem to be, I would just assume all-out 鈥楾rumpified鈥� [decorating],鈥漵he told 愛污传媒 Channel.
鈥淭hey seem to be very bold in their design style,鈥� she said, adding that it鈥檚 also 鈥渁 little ostentatious.鈥�
The Trumps have not asked her to be part of the redecoration, but she told 愛污传媒 Channel that she would consider it, if the opportunity arose.
It might be some time before the U.S. president-elect gets around to redecorating, however. Trump recently said Sunday at his golf course in New Jersey after meeting with Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, that his wife Melania and their son Barron won鈥檛 move into the White House until after their son has finished his school year.
