When Donald Trump cast his ballot in Manhattan, he apparently couldn’t help but peek over at his wife, Melania, as she pencilled in her own vote in the adjacent booth.
A shot of the stolen glance was caught on camera as Trump and his family voted Tuesday morning at a public school in Manhattan’s East Side.

The moment has since spawned plenty of jokes on Twitter. An official account for Hillary Clinton’s campaign in Minnesota retweeted the photo and wrote, “To report voter intimidation in Minnesota, call our voter protection hotline at 612-470-4422.”

Others took jabs at Trump’s perceived insecurity and suggested that, just maybe, Melania voted for someone else.

Mel: Sorry, Donny. My vote for Hillary was just a locker room vote.
In another viral flub, Trump’s son Eric reportedly posted a picture of his own ballot. It’s against New York state laws for a person to show another person their ballot. Last week, a federal judge ruled .
Despite the restriction, Eric Trump reportedly posted the photo anyway, writing: “It is an incredible honor to vote for my father! He will do such a great job for the U.S.A! #MakeAmericaGreatAgain”
The image, posted Tuesday morning, was later deleted from his Twitter account -- but not before some social media users captured screen grabs of the post.
