Tina Fey's just picked up the Peabody Award for being best in electronic media for "30 Rock."
The ceremony was yesterday in New York.
She says her character on "30 Rock," Liz Lemon, would think winning a Peabody means "what she was doing was extremely important, as she always knew that it was, and that it could change lives."
That's probably a little much, since Lemon is the head writer of the fake program, "The Girly Show."
But Fey adds, after saying that high-falutin' stuff about how important Lemon's job is, "then, she would eat a sandwich and fall asleep."
Peabodys also went to "Mad Men," "Dexter," "Project Runway," "The Colbert Report," and much more, including programs about veterans dealing with extremely serious war wounds.
