EDMONTON - The mother of a Polish man who died after being Tasered by the RCMP is to make an announcement today with the mother of an Edmonton man who also died after being zapped by a stun gun.

Zofia Cisowski is the mother of Robert Dziekanski, who died at Vancouver International Airport just over three years ago.

She is in Edmonton to support Bev Grimolfson the mother of Trevor Grimolfson, who died after Edmonton police hit him with a Taser multiple times on Oct. 29, 2008.

Cisowski will be attending the fatality inquiry into Grimolfson's death.

The medical examiner determined that Grimolfson died of excited delirium, a controversial term linked to people who have died after being zapped by electronic stun guns.

Last year, Alberta government investigators announced that no police officers would face criminal charges in his death.
