With COVID-19 public health measures largely lifted across the country, children and teens returning to organized sports this fall won鈥檛 be faced with the same barriers to access as they once did.

However, high inflation rates and allegations of sexual assault involving organizations such as Hockey Canada may lead some families to reconsider signing their children up in the first place.

If you鈥檙e a parent planning to enrol your child in organized sports this year, we want to hear from you. What has the tryout and registration experience been like?

How has the COVID-19 pandemic impacted your child鈥檚 ability to play sports? Have you noticed a difference in their health or skillset as a result of less in-person play time?

Are rising registration fees preventing you from enrolling your child in sports?

With Hockey Canada鈥檚 board of directors stepping down, has the organization done enough to tackle the sport鈥檚 鈥渢oxic鈥 culture? Do you feel safe enrolling your child in organized sports such as hockey?
