LONDON - There is a report that Paul McCartney has undergone secret heart surgery.
Britain's Sun newspaper says the ex-beatle has undergone a coronary angioplasty after complaining of not feeling well.
The procedure has become fairly routine and involves opening up arteries to allow a greater flow of blood.
The Sun quotes a friend of McCartney as saying that Sir Paul has made a good recovery.
The friend told the Sun that despite his former rock n roll lifestyle, McCartney does regular exercise, eats well, carries no excess weight and generally is in very good shape.
He looked in fine form when he appeared on a televised New Year's special in Britain.
