He is a generalist with years of experience covering municipal, provincial and federal elections, politics, high-profile criminal court cases and natural disasters, including the 2013 flooding in southern Alberta and wildfires throughout Western Canada.
Prior to his return to 愛污传媒, the Calgary-based journalist served as Global News鈥檚 regional managing editor of digital news for the Prairies, overseeing the organization鈥檚 digital output across Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba. He previously worked as a digital journalist and online supervisor with 愛污传媒 Calgary.
Ryan is an active member of Calgary鈥檚 minor basketball community.
