Canadians joined a chorus of voices from all corners of the internet Tuesday, as they urged U.S. voters to make the "right" choice between Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton at the voting booth.
Most of the comments on Twitter were cautionary remarks to the U.S., with many forecasting disaster if Donald Trump should become the next president.
Dear America. I don't want to die in a nuclear holocaust next January. Vote wisely, lots of love, the rest of the world.
— Bill Wignall (@billwignall)
Dear America,
— Tia Cola (@AussieTia)
On behalf of the rest of the world, please do the right thing today.
Dear America: let's rebuke the dangerous orange bigot today. Let's be better than our ugliest impulses, better than our fears.
— Izzy Wasserstein (@wasserst)
Dear America:
— Jonathan (@jonvox)
Last night, a boy I really like told me that he really likes me.
He’s an immigrant.
Please don’t mess this up for me.
Others took a more humorous approach, as they asked America not to make the "stupid" choice.
Dear America,
— Adam Hoge (@AdamHoge)
Don't be stupid today.
Love, Adam.
Dear America,
— Gord Macey (@GordMacey)
Good luck on your IQ test today.

Earth (minus Russia)
Dear America,
— MaSenn (@MaSenn_)
We've just about forgiven you for that whole "Dubya Bush" thing. Don't kick yourself in the balls again.
Cheers
Several Canadians also offered up their own jokes about the election.
Dear America: you wouldn't like it here. We put socialisms in our water. Everyone is unarmed. Bison roam the streets.
— Lloyd Rang (@lloydrang)
Sincerely,
Canada
Dear America,
— Nicole Dickens (@nicoledickens_)
Good luck on your psychological assessment today.
Nicole from Canada
Dear America,
— Penny Lane✨ (@hallepocket)
In the horrifying event that Donald Trump becomes president, please don't try to move here.
Sincerely,
Canada
Dear America,
— Steve Simon (@the_stevesimon)
Rob Ford was a cautionary tale, not a test drive.
Dear America,
— The Product (@UFODebates)
Most of us dont want you here unless you learn to say sorry.

A number of Twitter users from the U.K. mentioned that country's recent Brexit vote in their tweets, with saying: "We messed up Brexit but you're better than that. Please don't let it be Trump."
Dear America. Learn from Brexit. Vote. Don't protest vote. Vote seriously and with honesty. Thank you.
— Richard Brooksby (@rptb1)
Dear America, we ruined our Country with Brexit. Destroyed. Please don't do what we did. Good Luck Hillary
— frances Barber (@francesbarber13)
But amid all the anti-Trump commentary, there were also voices calling for his election.
— Selección Trump (@AdiosFreedom)
Dear America,
All the scare stories of Brexit turned out to be lies.
Don't believe the fear from MSM!

Dear America, please don't vote for Hillary.
— Syd (@SydneyShreck)
Dear America, I'm sorry we have so many idiots actually voting for this woman. The ignorance of this tweet honestly makes me sad for us.
— RISHA (@LandonRisha)
Dear America please vote in. We could really do with 4 years without you being down our throats. Give us a break. Build a wall.
— Comrade Benjamin (@Comrade_Donkey)
Dear America,
— Matt 52% Davies (@mkpdavies)
Do the world a favour & boot to the kerb.

Britain (Sane part)
If I see one more "Dear America, do the right thing!" or "Make sure you vote!" tweet I am going to pray that Trump wins and nukes the world.
