Speaking on CTVâs Your Morning on Tuesday, food blogger Julie Albert shared her ideas for a red, white and blue bash as history unfolds south of the border.
Inspired by Democratic presidential candidate at a debate in September, Albert recommends the oven-baked, cornmeal crusted (left) wing chicken wings, complete with two different kinds of dipping sauces: blue cheese and apricot.
âIf youâre a right-winger you can eat them as well,â Albert said with a laugh. âBut eat them in secret.â
If youâre looking for Republican-themed fun, Albert suggests her Trumped-up beer braised BBQ chicken sliders. âYou can have these in 30 minutes,â Albert said.
And donât sniff at the Trumptini, which features cherry vodka, a splash of grenadine syrup and cranberry juice.
