Celine Dion has always had a flair for the wacky.

From to unpredictable arm dancing to her emotional advice to rescue crews after Hurricane Katrina (), the 49-year-old Quebec diva has a reputation for endearingly strange behaviour.

But her latest stunt may just take the cake.

On Thursday, Vogue that could well serve as a highlight reel of Celine’s campiest quirks.

Dressed in opulent gowns from Valentino, Chanel and Christian Dior, Dion romps across Paris, dons a cotton-candy pink wig, climbs a ladder, dances atop a boat, steals some French fries and – of course – breaks out into song.

Dion’s day as a fearless fashion model has sparked plenty of online reaction. The Vogue video has been viewed more than 3 million times on Facebook in just 24 hours.

Think pieces and speculated on whether Dion, whose music has long been criticized as the epitome of cheesy pop, has transcended her critics and become cool again. (For what it’s worth, rapper Drake recently said he’d like to get a picture of Dion’s face )

If anything, the video marks a return to goofiness for Dion, who spent much of last year dedicated to her late husband, Rene Angelil, who died in January 2016.

For fans, the flamboyant video was proof that Dion is back to her old tricks.
