The king of the race track is now king of the dance floor.

Tuesday night "" named , a champion race car driver, the winner of a grueling 10-week dance off.

Castroneves had some stiff competition along the way, including Spice Girl , who finished second, and singer/entertainer , who finished third.

In an interview with the Associated Press, Castroneves said he was "very happy" about the win, not just because the win is decided his moves, but that it is also "about popularity."

The winner of "Dancing with the Stars" is decided by scores from the judges and votes from audiences at home.

Last year, Castroneves' dance partner Julianne Hough won the competition when she was pared with speed skater Apolo Anton Ohno.

"She has an incredible fan base," says Castroneves.

When AP questioned runner up Brown about her loss, she says when she heard, it "was a horrible feeling. I'm not going to deny it."

48-year-old Osmond told AP that she knew that though her chances of winning were slim."Obviously, I'm not the best dancer," says Osmond.

Unlike Brown and Osmond, who both have experience performing and dancing on stage, Castroneves was among the most "amateur" all of this year's celebrities.

Last week when eTalk's Tanya Kim was backstage at "Dancing with the Stars," judge Bruno Tonioli said that Castroneves' success in the competition has been shocking.

"He's the only non-performer, but the greatest achiever of all of them," said Tonioli.

When eTalk asked Castroneves about what he plans on doing after the competition, he says he can't wait to get back behind the wheel.

"I miss my racecar and I miss my team," he said.

The Brazilian says that because of his training on the show, he also "might be dancing when I win a race now."
