MONTREAL - Canadian tour operator Transat A.T. Inc. (TSX:TRZ) says it is cancelling more flights from Canada to Mexico because of the outbreak of the new strain of H1N1 flu.

The company, which in late April had suspended flights to Mexico until June 1 because of the swine flu outbreak, now says its flights to Mexico will be cancelled until June 19.

The tour operator says its customers will be able to change their travel plans, with no additional service charges, but the trip must be completed on or before December 18.

The company says the change applies to its customers whether they are taking flights operated by Air Transat or other carriers.

It says unless the situation worsens in Mexico, its operations will return to normal after June 19.

Mexico's Health Secretary Jose Angel Cordova today confirmed one more death from swine flu, bringing that country's national death toll to 45 while the number of illnesses has risen by 159 to 1,319.
